What's the difference between 'begin' & 'start'?Answered On :2013-07-06 , Asked By : ritika6

There is not much difference between 'begin' and 'start'. Both these words can usually be used interchangeably.

However, 'Start' can be used both as a verb or a noun whereas 'begin' is used only as a verb.

AS A VERB - Let's start working.

AS A VERB - Let's begin working.

AS A NOUN - The start of the match has been delayed.
