MEANING 1: (n.) a statement that may sound contradictory but can be true 

EXAMPLE SENTENCES:

  1. The paradox of being calm and serene at the rock concert made her smile.
  2. It seems to be a paradox that drinking something hot can actually cool your body.

 

MEANING 2: (n.) a person who has conflicting or contradictory characteristics
