How to use the 'Speaking Exercise' feature?
Speaking Exercise feature helps you to record your voice into the computer, listen to your own voice and compare with that of the experts.
STEP 1: Make sure that Mic is working
Make sure that your Mic is working. You can test your Mic here.
STEP 2: Make sure that your browser is compatible with Flash Player
You can test if your browser supports Flash player here.
If Flash player is not supported by your browser, you can download the latest version from here.
STEP 3: Install the latest Adobe Shockwave Player
You can download and install the latest Adobe Shockwave Player here.
STEP 4: Allow EnglishLeap.com to access your Mic
You may be asked by the browser to allow EnglishLeap.com to access your Mic
STEP 5: Click on 'Record' button
You have to record your voice. Click on 'Record' button.
You should be able to see the sound level bar fluctuate.
STEP 8: Stop and Compare your voice
You can compare your voice with that of an expert by listening to your voice and also that of the expert.
